Welcome to the 2026 Northern California Girls softball Association Youth Umpire Page 

Clinic Information: Cost is $40.00 for Youth Umpires under age 17. $85.00 for Adult Umpires age 18 and over. Leagues will register their umpires and send those registrations to USA Softball of Sacramento.  Umpires 18 and over will need to complete the Safe Sport Certification process.

Clinic dates are listed below. Please remember that clinics can be subject to change due to weather & field conditions. We will do our best to update the clinic dates in a timely manner. In some cases, decisions may be made at the last minute. There also may be a need to make some changes to Time & Location. Check the page often, and before you head out.   

Last minute changes will be distributed via the NorCal email system to the league UIC that is hosting the clinic, as well as to other members on the distribution list. In case of inclement weather contact the hosting league's UIC. Or the NorCal UIC, Phil Perkins at -  officialphil58@gmail.com

Northern California Girls Softball 2026 Youth umpire clinic dates.

January 20, 20026, 6:00 pm - 7:45 pm, Maidu Community Center Roseville, rooms 1 & 2. Note, we will not have access to the rooms until 5:45 pm
** Bring your mobile phone, tablet or laptop for the registration portion of the meeting. This is USA Softball of Sacramento & GSSA General meeting. NorCal Youth Umpires and league UIC's are welcome to attend. This clinic is somewhat abbreviated with basic info. While informative and helpful, I recommend that you attend one of our Youth specific clinics.    

  Sunday Feb. 1st Rocklin Girls Softball, Lund Park Rocklin, Fld. #3 9:00a to 1:00p. Lunch will be provided.

Wednesday Feb. 4th NorCal Girls Softball 8U Rules Clinic. Rancho Cordova City Hall. 6:30p to 8:30p. NorCal will provide Pizza & Drinks.

Sunday Feb. 8th Elk Grove Girls Softball, Elk Grove Regional Park, Kloss Softball Complex. 10:00a to 12:00p 

Sunday Feb. 22nd Folsom Girls Softball, Livermore Park Folsom. Fld. #3 10:00a to 1:00p 

Sunday Mar. 1st Foothill Girls Softball, Buckeye School Fields, Single Springs10:00a to 12:00p
